Silliness well tolerated/more serious philosophers appreciated?

Of coarse we all know that despite the uncertainty of our fragile human lives, living more than just another day will most likely happen. But, I suppose it is necessary (for the sake of digesting this advice and answering the question) that if we were to all ume no tomorrow, that people would be more kind to one another. After all if you were to be left with a mere 24 hours of existence on this earth before vanishing never to return, what traces of yourself could live on except through the impact you create in other lives. I think we would all realize that the only thing worth anything in this life is how we interact with others.
