What Is being asked of us here isn Scripture? and how do we do this....?

Jesus was referring to discipleship. A pouring out of oneself into another persons' life.The Bible states that we grow from glory to glory into the very image of the Lord Jesus Christ.That should be one of the most important aims in our lives;to be more like Jesus in attitude,in display of Holy Spirit power,in a walk of love and sacrifice.God's covenant is with us through the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. As with most covenants,so it is with us.Two parties make a compact,a solemn promise to give all they have to the other party even defending them to the death.The covenant was ratified through the Blood of Jesus.We got the better deal!
