Any good songs to sing?

hey im 13 years old going on 14. I Absolutely love to sing! I was going to try out for a talent show singing because of you by kelly clarkson but did not turn my application in cuz i wasn't ready, but next year, i really want to be ready and hopefully make it though the auditions. Im mostly interested in singing country or pop songs but im open to any suggestions. I am an alto but some songs can sing high. I know it is pretty early to think about next year but i really want to make it perfect. Any good song suggestions based on my age and what I like and my range of voice? please help thanks !!! :D
