IPhone won't install on Windows XP...?

I just got my iPhone a couple of weeks ago and it works with iTunes well and everything. However, every time I hook it up to the computer it says "New device found - iPhone" and I try installing it to the computer but every time I get a message saying "Cannot install this hardware"; "The hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software." There is no information on the iPhone for the Driver provider, date, version, and signer. I really want to install it to the computer but I have no idea how to do it anymore. Any help please?
