Is it a mistake to talk to my current boss about my past job woes?

My boss and I somehow ended up having a very casual conversation at work and she started telling me about how she tried to be a fair boss due to some difficult experiences she'd encountered early in her career due to office politics. So before I knew it, I ended up talking to her about my own negative experiences that I experienced at previous jobs (I guess I just wanted her to know that I could relate to her own woes). Should I have kept my mouth shut? But since the cat is already out of the bag, is there a way to rectify the situation? If so, how should I go about fixing it? Thanks
