Possible symptoms of a heart attack?

Today I started to experience some 'tingling' down my left arm. It is a 'prickly, tingly' feeling. Kind of like what happens after you have sat with your foot in a position for too long and it goes numb, you know the feeling after the numbness is wearing off? It started about an hour ago. It happened to me yesterday as well, but than stopped.Other than that, it happened one other time, very briefly. The first time, I thought b/c I was on the computer, I just didn't have my wrists in the proper position and it was affecting my blood flow. Yesterday, it caught my attention, but it didn't last for too long, it was late..I was tired. Went to bed...and just forgot about it until today. I have had some other things going on ..in of themselves, I have just 'brushed them aside'. Now, I am wondering if they may be related. First of all, I have been having pain that shoots down my jaw. But, I have some problems with my teeth, so I thought it was just that. But, this is different, because it is a much deeper pain than what I usually experience. Also, I have gotten some heart palpatations. Now this isn't unusual for me, as I have high blood pressure and I find that if I am not consistently taking my meds, that happens. I have been more regular with my meds lately though, but I still didn't think much of it as I have mentioned the heart palpatations to my doctor before and she hasn't shown any concern over it, so I figured it was no big deal. I have also felt some pain down the left side of my neck. Once again, contributed it to the teeth (I have VERY DEEP roots). Right now, I am still experiencing the tingling, it is starting from the left side...going down to my hand (nothing on the right side), I do have some nausea also(but I haven't eaten since early this morning), and I am experiencing some lightheadness(I do have to admit I am tired, I have been tired alot this week, but my doctor also put me back on some pain meds for a chronic pain condition a couple of weeks ago and they do tend to make me tired). I am currently on some meds for my high blood pressure. I have been under alot of 'stress' lately and I thought maybe that was the cause of alot of how I am feeling. I am 43 years old and other than the high blood pressure (which is basically under control) and my chronic pain condition, I am in pretty good health. Does anyone out there have knowledge/experience with these type of symptoms and have any suggestions as to whether or not this warrants a trip to the hospital? If this is a 'prelude' to a heart attack, I would rather do something now, before it becomes a full blown heart attack. I don't like going to the hospital over any or every little thing. I feel that alot of people misuse the emergency room, and I don't want to be one of them. Also, I hate the wait times. If this is a possible angina attack, would they see me quicker than the norm? I am also a single mother and have an 11 year old and a 19 year old son with high functioning autism. I am afraid I will go in to get checked, and they may keep me there. Should I just wait to see if the tingling subsides, or is this something I shouldn't ignore and go to the hospital and get checked for?
